I am really struggling right now with everything...on top of all the trump crap...I know it'll get better eventually (the personal stuff, at least...)...just hard to do the day-in and day-out stuff and try to keep a smile on my face. Anyway. Sometimes it just be like that, right?

Over the next 3 days, I have 3 Thanksgivings...tomorrow with my kids (will be fine...having pizza and snacks and will be no issues politically), Thursday at my in-laws (there are political differences but an agreement has been made to not discuss...I can handle that), then Friday at my sis' house

There's one account on the othxr site that won't be on bluesky or threads...i don't want to lose touch with him (an elderly man who's awesome). Is there a way to only see his posts there?

I'm a public school teacher...in my 29th year but because of poor planning on my part I need 2 more years after this year before I can retire. Will there even BE public schools for 2 more years, and will I, a gay married music teacher even be allowed to continue? Thoughts?
