But now I've been feeling much better because I'm getting more sleep! Not saying that's what you are experiencing but I was glad that I told my doctor I had been feeling unenergetic!

I feel this! Earlier this year, I felt like I wasn't being as creative or driven as I know I can be. After taking a sleep test, I found out that I have severe sleep apnea and it was probably the cause of my lack of energy. I probably had it for most of my life but it finally caught up.

I'm going to miss staying up on Fridays to watch 3 episodes of this show! It was something I looked foward to every week! 😭

4. This was the last game that I ever shipped before going off into R&D land! It also represents a turning point in my career where I felt like I grew my voice and really felt like a developer. I was given animation ownership of some key things like a raid boss! I'll always be grateful to that team.

2/2 However, I was firmly instructed to rig the characters using only 1 bone and to animate them talking with that only that one bone. I was a nervous newbie back then so I did not feel comfortable arguing for less restrictions. It was absolutely embarrassing producing work like this. Oh well!

3. Planes: This was the last game that I shipped at that studio before it shut down. The game also represents the first time I ever felt disappointment with art direction for a project. As a beginner animator, I was so excited at the chance of working on something Disney related. 1/2

2. Monster High: This was the first game that I ever shipped at a physical studio! I made a cool intro cinematic that I was proud of at the time that every single external tester skipped when they came in to play it 🫠

1. Slender: This was the first game that I made any real money on. With this money, I was able to move out to California to pursue my dreams, even if the money was only enough for 6 months of rent! It was also the first game that I ever watched streamers play. It was an amazing feeling!
