My conclusion: The study gives good info on feature quantity but misses what makes good UX: less IS more.
A real UX assessment would examine usefulness, ease of learning, efficiency, and emotional response — not just feature counting.

Are the banks labeled as “Digital Champions” really champions? Or just the ones with the most checkboxes?
Good design is often about what you leave out, not what you put in. Too many features overwhelm users and decrease satisfaction.

Accessibility still appears as an afterthought in banking UX. The “significant gaps” in this area need to be fixed before adding more fancy services.
The EU Accessibility Act provides important guidelines — let's prioritize this before adding yet another feature!

A great user experience isn't about having the most features. It's about having the right features that work well together.
The best digital experiences are clear, simple, and show users what they need when they need it. Feature bloat ≠ UX maturity.

“Having vs. Using” Problem with Deloitte’s study!?! It claims banks are optimizing existing functions and improving user experience, rather than just adding features. Sounds good, but they don't follow through — each section just counts features instead of measuring user success.
