Every time I see the BBC report on something IT they make a complete mess of it. I conclude from this that they are just as bad on every other subject and every story causes some expert somewhere to have their head in their hands.

Get a VPN subscription that will let you pretend to be in Australia. Australian channel SBS has excellent cycling coverage for free without too many ads.

I bought D+ for the last few years in order to get coverage from the start without the ads even if I preferred Gary, Ned and David. At £30 a month I'm not buying TNT. Will be watching ITV4 this year, then probably using a VPN to watch on SBS Australia from next year.

Update. After submitting a support ticket on Tuesday I finally get a reply today to say they are doing maintenance in their Frankfurt data centre. Been without website and email for over a week and it's still down. We'll be moving elsewhere and I suggest you avoid this shower.
