A Memory Called Empire

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed this book despite how long it took me to read it. I appreciate the elements of espionage along with the commentary on assimilation and patriotism.

A surprisingly sad book even though we know how it ends. Imagine going the most and it all ends up being for next to nothing. Poor Haymitch.

Snow can go to hell.

Dowry of Blood

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

This was a perfectly fine book. I feel it was the appropriate length for the story they set to tell.

It never felt drug out.

Long story short, a threesome and a new baby won’t save your relationship. Even if you’re a vampire.

Six Wakes

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

A sci-fi whodunnit with more twists than a sock hop. I enjoyed slowly learning everyone’s back story and connecting the dots. Even though the motives were a plenty, pinpointing the murderer was and adventure.

First off let me admit my bias. Hercules odd my favorite Disney movie, and the Muses are my favorite part (like everyone else with taste).

THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE!

They stayed true to their personalities, wove in Greek mythology, and created a fun story I was interested in.

The Atlas Six

⭐️⭐️⭐️

This books suffers the same way other dark academia books do. They focus on making the academia cool, then the outer world suffer.

This didnt make me want to follow the adventure now that its time to leave the academic environment.

Black Candle Women

⭐️⭐️✨

Meh. I was hoping for more magic and less run of the mill drama. I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope, but this one fell flat in particular becs the secrets everyone kept were not juicy enough for the trouble it caused.

The Silverblood Promise

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

This book is a funny, fast-paced adventure. I loved the characters even though the writing lacked some finesse. Im sad theres only one book in the series. Will definitely be back for book 2.
