To be honest, when I'm writing, I'm generally listening to jazz - so that I'm not tempted to sing along.
Occasionally, I'll be writing a scene that fits with a specific album or piece of music - almost as if I'm soundtracking that scene in my mind. But that's the exception, rather than the rule.

Agreed - I've messed around with Sidecar... But because I have an ultra wide, I've got to have a very good reason to faff around with it.
But, in Continuity Mode, it is magical every time I move the cursor off screen and onto the iPad. And just dragging files and whatnot is super handy.

Mostly I use it in continuity mode - to post directly to the BlueSky app, etc. However, on occasion, if, say, I'm working in Final Cut Pro, I might preview to the iPad. Very, very occasionally, I'll preview photos in reference mode on the iPad.
