Agreed. Origin stories have also become a bit of a cliche since then, too. There are so many good stories out there. We don't have to keep trying to re-squeeze the old fruits.

I thought the book was good when I read it 30 years ago. The movie was unwatchable, and I wanted to like it. I turned it off after 5 minutes.

He is so insufferable. I didn't think I could hate an opinion columnist more than smarmy David Brooks (or Kristol when he was there).

They're already doing this. They don't need to be told to. Their lack of success with women and their interest in making the world less fair for others are directly intertwined.

Back to the texts, where did the local prosecutors get the messages? Did they get screenshots from the FBI and then reproduced them themselves? Or did they get the already-reproduced version of the messages from the FBI? Who all has seen the actual messages? 3/
