I love that he's not acting like the battle's over and that everyone can go home now, like Obama did after he won.

This is a "let them fight" situation, not a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" situation.

Anyone saying to move on from Epstein wants to lose.

I'm legit astonished that 20,000 documents from the Epstein Files were made public, one outlet even made it searchable to the public, and it still hasn't shown up on Bluesky's trending topics. Are we so siloed that things can just be buried in plain site now?

We created a searchable database with all 20,000 files from Epstein’s Estate
Easily find every mention of Trump, Clinton, blackmail, and potential sex crimes in the thousands of private messages between Epstein and his close associates.

Putting "Island" in quotes like he does is certainly interesting. Something about that word is scaring him.

Also, "States of" is up too high because they didn't curve the line of text enough.

No, we should base our politics around the middle path fallacy.

I'm loving the kerning between the capital and lowercase letters. Graphic design is someone's passion over there.

Those kinds of unmoderated debates are won by whoever is most skilled at them, typically whoever's put in the most hours. Also, they're not the same thing as the governor of California having friendly chats with hateful, fascist freaks, grinning and laughing and treating them like good ol' boys.

I'm not saying we can't go onto right wing platforms. But that's not the same as a far right grifter on a lib's platform acting like it's all just "the marketplace of ideas". And it's even worse when a lib moves to the right to meet the fascist, like Newsom. We cannot cede any ground to them, ever.

As far as the future goes, we just got a glimpse of it last night, and it's definitely not through the right. People are hurting out there and they need solutions. If we're not offering any ourselves, then they'll go with the GOP's solutions. What they won't vote for is more of the same.

Young Republicans aren't impressed by liberals sucking up to them. They just find it pathetic. No, people respect those who stand by their convictions. Catering to the right just to hopefully win over some 4chan dorks is a fool's errand. It has never worked, nor can it.

You think it's a matter of debating, like we're in an episode of The West Wing and we can just talk it out "like grownups" and reach a magical consensus with literal fascists. They love when liberals try this on TV and elsewhere; they in fact depend on it to give their ideas legitimacy. It's a joke.

You cannot treat the far right like they're acting in good faith, because they simply aren't. Giving them your platform only lends credibility to their ideas. Disaffected young men want solutions and that's what the left and the right offer them. Centrism offers nothing but the status quo.

You literally asked me what I think and I told you. I "can't get along with others" because I disagree about Newsom? How does that make sense? He's spends his time throwing the homeless and trans people under the bus. That's not helpful to anyone but the far right. Playing nice with fascists sucks.
