Aww, thank you! I've had major work/life/balance shifts in the last year that put a wrench in having time to photograph and login to social media. I'm honestly surprised anyone noticed I was gone, it always felt like posting into a void here but your comment really warmed my heart, thank you!

Only recently! It's just a used mini fridge I bought off Marketplace. I knew I needed to store my peonies somehow and my icepack/cooler carton was not going to cut it lol. It's done the job so far and it's a relief to be able to have a place to cut and store when I don't have time to use them yet!

Kind of depends. For this bouquet I wanted to show off the spring garden personality, so went for a bit of everything, but frequently I pick whatever blooms are most useable and store what I don't use in my floral fridge.

I am trying to get better about pre-planning. It works... sometimes. 😅

Thanks! I solarized this area with black plastic sheeting for a season or two to kill off the grass first, and then started planting in 2021. It's had ugly stages, so keep that in mind. I still weed out Creeping Charlie frequently, and sometimes long stems of grass pop up too, among other things.

Every year I throw out more seed as well, just to fill in patches and all that. I have another part of my garden where I've done this change as well, but about twice the size. Patches are more obvious there but get filled in more as the season heats up/things come out of dormancy.

Work in progress since Spring of 2021. It could have been accomplished more aggressively if I'd immediately seeded/planted more perennials at the outset, but initially solarized the grass, laid down mulch, and mass planted dahlias along with other annuals for some more instant satisfaction.

Oof, my condolences! We got spring a month early here and I absolutely would not be ok with snow currently!

I don't know if you're into gardening photos or flowers, but as the season gets warmer I post a lot of that kind of photography.
