I don't understand why the administration keeps saying that other countries pay our tariffs. This is simply not true even in the most optimistic scenario (e.g., a US importer negotiates something with their foreign partner). If the policy is good, why lie about it?

Democrats really need to dumb down their messaging. Tired of reading PhD dissertation-esque threads. Small words, simple sentences, catchy catch phrases. Focus that message in barely red districts/swing states. Work across the aisle to get those R's to vote with the D's. Stop acting powerless!
