So here is my question… What if Fashion Conversations launched an industry-specific version of this? Would this be useful to you or someone you know? If the answer is yes, raise your hand and I will get to work.

From what I know after 15 years in this industry is that such a tool does not exist in fashion. A structured way for fashion entrepreneurs to find their ideal co-founder whether that’s a fashion designer, fashion startup founder or anything other fashion venture.

The very well know accelerator program, Y Combinator offer something interesting: YC Co-Founder Matching, a tool that filters potential co-founders by location, expertise, and experience. It works like a dating app: you sign in, see relevant profiles, and if there’s match, you can connect and chat.

(2/2) Who could have imagined that this fashion school launched in Brussels in 1986 would one day shape the future of luxury fashion?

Proud to be Belgian and can’t wait to see their first collections in a few months.

Great thread @dieworkwear.bsky.social !Japanese culture values not only craftsmanship but perfection. It creates a mindset where each person’s look, house, life needs to fit that aesthetic.

To give a non fashion related example, the best Mexican food I’ve ever had outside of Mexico was in Japan.

She asked me if the consumer need for personalisation came from the rise of the “snowflake generation” that makes everyone feel special. Part of my answer was yes and I went into a few reasons I could observe but it’s been stuck in my head since then.
