Whoever participated in Epstein's heinous crimes should face justice. No kidding. But there is a clear difference in which party is seeking release of information and which party is seeking to cover it up. Plenty of things Democrats in Congress do that suck but they're on the right side of this one.

Those are different things. The post was specifically about the Epstein files. Very close to all Democrats strongly support releasing them. Very close to all Republicans have fought it so far. The original post implied no difference. Many of us have other gripes but this is a real difference.

You mean Republicans. From what I am seeing very close to every Democrat is pushing and ready to vote for full release of the Epstein files. There are certainly grounds for criticizing Democrats, particularly leadership, but this isn't one.

According to a recent letter to DO[in]J from Jaimie Raskin, they shut down an ongoing investigation into Epstein coconspirators in July this year. Probably want to restart now to hide files.

One potential caveat here. I saw some reports there was an active investigation going on by the FBI during the Biden administration that was just shut down in July. If so that would help explain why we didn't hear anything during the Biden years.
