I’m tired of Trump’s cult justifying his wild decisions as “mastermind moves” that have a supposedly bigger, planned outcome. He is that guy who slips on the ice and says, “I meant to do that to show you how slippery this ice is.”

I just spoke to a Silent Generation man who believed in the deficit, saying it was “proven by scientific studies.” I was shocked: He has a master’s degree. Had to tell him that idea was debunked LONG ago.

Exactly. Most people are relieved early, without an immediate backup, because they have some kind of personal emergency. If only they could see into the future and know that they should stay to prevent that accident instead of taking a very sick child to ER. Or whatever their reason for leaving.
