Bit of a dangerous gamble. He would be an idiot to literally embrace the guy - especially one this toxic. Newsom himself is polarizing so this is not a good strategy for him and for me, personally is an appalling move. Enough to put me off & I was willing to give him a chance. But this is offensive

My library uses Libby. Also look at Fable as an alternative to Goodreads (Amazon owned) and Chirp App for audio books if you want to buy and not borrow through your library.
