Congratulations to Karen Solie, winner of this year's Governor General's Award for English-Language Poetry! Her winning book, Wellwater, was also recently awarded the Forward Prize, in a tie with Vidyan Ravinthiran. Here's one of my favourite poems from the collection.

Found this piece of pro-Trump propaganda while in line for the cash at Sobey's today. Very bizarre one-off about the new president and how wonderful he is. It's put out by a360media (see the photo; I also checked inside, same thing), which also publishes Us, Star, Woman's World, etc. Boycott.
