Jeans are a type of trousers. You can say jeans by themselves but you're only going to get directed to the jeans if you go into a store and be like "where's the mens jeans section?". You won't get directed to all the non skirt lower body garments.

I moved US->Wales in '23 and the UK has no collective word for women's non-skirt lower body garments. "Pants" is the American word but that means underwear here. Shorts, capris, cargos, leggings, jeans, skorts, joggers, etc....they have no collective word.

But always so weirdly out of the way. No idea why. Went in one once that they had a closed dining area on the 2nd floor they never used....except for people to walk through it to get to the toilet.

They're always good condition. Male friends have commented from my bathroom mirror selfies that the women's seems especially nice. The one in Aber has a counter of mirrors for touching uo hair and make up, windows looking down over the train station, and a small table and chairs. Very nice.

And for some unknown reason, they almost ALWAYS have their toilets in an oddly out of the way place. The one in Aber has them on the second (first in UK english) floor. Only thing on that floor. This one had the women's in the basement. Think the mens was on the ground floor.

Huge chain of restaurant pub places in the UK. Cheap, basic but a fairly big menu, and located EVERYWHERE. Very good for just popping in to use the toilet. Very good for starting a night out drinking.
