Today we brought home our new roommate. Meet Raider. His previous pet parent could no longer care for him, so she surrendered him to a rescue. You'd never know he'd only been in the house a few hours. Currently sleeping next to me on the arm of the recliner.

12 years ago, we rescued a dog from a neglect/abuse situation, didn't know how old she was. We named her Abbey Normal and gave her a home. She loves barking at the Fedex & UPS trucks, chase squirrels in the back yard, and camping in the summer. This Thursday, she will cross the bridge. I haz sad. 😭
