They're only saving grace is that they are so stupid. Like Trump always chickens out, this is Pete knowing full well who's accountable and is practically an admission of guilt. In the same breath they're attacking politicians for reminding service members about illegal orders.

What a circus.

The upside to this is that it would be an acknowledgment that they know what they did was wrong. And I think that's a foundation for a legal argument. I'm no expert.

The Nazi regime threatened political opposition through violence, intimidation, legal suppression, and imprisonment. It systematically dismantled democracy by identifying and arresting opponents. New laws like the Reichstag Fire Decree suspend civil liberties and imprison those who resisted.

A protection racket is a racketeering scheme, usually perpetrated by a criminal organization, that coerces payments from an individual or group in exchange for agreeing to not harm them (or for supposedly "protecting" them).

Republicans are really good at judging an entire group based on the actions of one person when it's not their group.

Guess who is responsible for more mass shootings than any other group in this country.

More concerned about where the shooter is from then where the gun is from.

Anything to avoid talking about guns.

Also, guess which group of people is responsible for more mass shootings and acts of political violence.

Go ahead. Guess.

Person from another country shoots two people. Instead of talking about how that person got a gun, we're going to go ahead and ban everyone from third world countries. That's a very Republican response.

March 24, 1933, the Reichstag passed what became known as the Enabling Act. It “enabled” the chancellor to punish anyone he considered an “enemy of the state.” It allowed “laws passed by the government” to override the constitution. Only the 94 Social Democrats voted against the law.

I believe Trump described Khashoggi as "extremely controversial" . The same could be said for Charlie Kirk. So that's okay, too. I guess.

Third grade assholes.

Also. "Imbecilic morons" and "planet Earth" are phrases with superfluous elements. Imbecile and moron are interchangeable because the original usage is obsolete. And if that was the intent, then you can't be both. And we just call it Earth. We know it's a planet. We live here.

That's a rhetorical question, right?
