I was raised partly by a mother but mostly by her mental illness.
It is an almost daily struggle to remember to let other people in.
Into my life, my feelings, inside the walls I was taught to build as a child.
I am stronger with others.
We are all stronger together.

There were ICE raids in downtown Seattle restaurants yesterday and not a story about it? Apparently it happened in numerous sanctuary cities and I could only find two stories. #ICERaids
