Do you mean this in a self-critical way about the quality of the art or as a disinterest in the types of motifs and styles you use? If it's the latter I do think it's worth experimenting with other stuff until you find something that excites you, there's so much stuff out there

I'm imagining Pearl going out of her way to do big Shows of Commitment and Devotion early in their relationship. I know they're both very over the top naturally, but like specifically in a way that's exhausting and unrealistic to keep up on a daily basis. Until she Gets It and lets her guard down

I'm pretty sure Deep Cut's ages are only ever stated in Splatoon 3 concept art so I just close my eyes and pretend it's not real because it doesn't align with the Vibes they give me
