I was able to walk a whole mile from breakfast back to our hotel this morning.
After spending September-November mostly bedridden & having a lot of ups & downs pain-wise since December, it feels so nice to be able to start managing short outings on my feet again.

One of mine & Alex’s favorite lunch spots is a bakery/sandwich shop called Aspen Mills. But for some reason, Alex can never remember the name & instead calls it Alpine Meadows. So for Christmas I’m giving him a shirt with this printed on it.

Sometimes Ladybug stretches out across all of the expensive pieces from her enclosure & I think she does it just to make me feel good.
Other times she will go days without touching anything besides the cardboard paper towel tube.

For a costume thrown together in less than 24 hours using only pieces I already own (except one spool of ribbon to make my collar), feels not too shabby. Especially since we were the only people to show up to this party in costumes at all.
