Data centers demand water and lots of it for cooling towers, other systems. Is source capacity there? Are pipes and conveyances there? Then, water is returned to other systems for treatment. Same issue…who pay for the upgrades? We’re not talking about electricity. Sorry I missed this meeting.

I think some of it is shorthand and deliberate obfuscation. A lot of this was before end to end encryption and messaging platforms. They know what each other is saying (or trying to).

I forget the book written by the professor (Heel or Pack), but outer banks are constantly migrating due to littoral currents Gulf Steam or closer Newfoundland. In 100 years this will be academic. Mother Nature scoffs at your groins and sandbags.

Only sorry for original old timers whose fishing shacks built there (now extinct). The rich folk discovered paradise & bought them out. Now they want beach nourishment & cheap insurance (on our dime), local chambers of commerce, realtor protection rackets cry and gnash their teeth that it’s over. 🤷♂️
