Velaneth/Helios are associated with dandelions(which exist in XIV too I guess but I specifically think of the RL ones). It's symbolic - A simple, down to earth plant, the yellow phase looks like the sun, then the white one fragments and scatters, sundered; and they're travelers, blown by the wind.

Yeah, at least one of the authors wasn't thrilled about it. (And also at one point bemoaned that the people working on the Realms at the time didn't know Realmslore well and hadn't read novels)

This is what Velaneth's Myste looks like. Haurchefant's eye color, Emet's ancient hair color, and he's not fully aware of it yet then because his past life memories take their sweet time resolving fully and also you know he's half-mad still, but it's of course Hyth's hairstyle.

The chance of encountering DRK questline screenshots while going through my screenshot folders is low due to literally hundreds of thousands of screenshots, but never 0, and it always hurts. And holy fuck is this true for Velaneth sdfsadfsdf.

I really miss the plot on OCE these were taken at lol I've never been able to snag it on NA. I probably could have on the alt that got LB41, but well, LB41. The lighting was so good there.
