I think, but I'm not certain, that you are voicing some of what I try to say to people: be concerned about what you find problematic. Then decide what you need to decide- but don't silence your criticisms in advance, or performatively, or oversimplistically.

... parents of children with rare and/or complex medical conditions often carry fear and hyper vigilance about where to have medical care and how to speak to doctors because of the cases we know of. No one should go through this grotesque trauma.
