We grapple with the immorality of 1000 cuts via social media vs that of one large blow of emotional abuse. When harm is subtle, gradual, but done at massive scale, our little human minds struggle to really understand it.

CONFUSING CARE WITH LOVE
It seems to me that some people choose partners who are broken because they think caring for broken people is love. They confuse the concept of caring for broken people with romantic love. Both are a form of love but each require a totally different relationship.

THE IRONY OF EMOTIONAL VULNERABILITY
When one brings up their emotions calmly and the other accuses them of being "too sensitive". Ironically it may be the other doing the accusing who is "too sensitive" to handle a calm conversation about emotions.

For a lot of years I have heard claims that people who speak different languages think differently. The question I have is the following:
Do the differences in how language impacts perception and thinking matter more between different languages or more between individual users of a single language?
