I understand it’s supposed to be irrelevant, but the fan voting is taking place after the QF match & I suspect not all voters will keep that in mind. Fan voting is only weighted at 10% of total, but could be a tipping point in a close race

Who thinks Vlatko’s COTY case is diminished by his work in the quarterfinal match against Gotham? Because as Lynn stated on @womensgamemib, Vlatko didn’t adjust his strategy for players he didn’t have / play to the strengths of the players he did have (see also 2023 USWNT). 🙋♀️

I played this game on Saturday (flight cancelled but was able to get a new one arriving a nearby airport only 1.5 hrs later), Sunday (delayed by 1.5 hrs) and today (flight appears to be departing on time but am currently taxiing to the runway at an oft delayed airport so we’ll see).
