Absolutely applaud the different universes - that's not the issue. I would be stunned if a sequel that builds on such a flawed and boring movie makes me feel different - but I am open to the experience

Joker was an absolutely terrible movie. Phoenix did a good job with a garbage movie, but it was still a garbage movie.

It is so well done. The casting was pretty spot on all around. The feel and vibe of the series was so consistent. Jedi are cool, but so is a lot of other stuff in that galaxy.
