Living at 7000' in SW CO with 3 dogs(sadly, only 2 dogs now. God rest old Aunt Chris' soul) & 2 bonded sister cats. Love snow! Appreciate cold weather since I dislike the heat. Outdoors daily, hiking often with the pups.

Sunset last night from my back porch, 20 mi. SE of Durango, CO. ~7000' in the La Plata Mountains, part of the San Juan Mtns, which make up part of the Rockies.

Leaving Silverton & Lime Creek on 550 last Thursday, @drumshaman.bsky.social That's mostly all of the change I saw btwn Oxford & Montrose...no stands of Aspen beginning to get yellow, although the green is fading.
