It's usually the pivotal moments like these in history when such gifted individuals appear. The potential is inherent in anyone to be that individual who fights for everyones survival. Anyone can tip the balance in a moment of bravery.

The Dunning-Kruger effect at its core - The less you know, the more you think you know. And the more you know, the less you think you know.

The more we learn, the more we begin to realize just how much there is that we do not and may never know about everything.

Maybe your aim being simply ‘to win’ is clouding your perception about the actual reality of what you’re ‘arguing’ about. Aim to instead first understand, then get to a place where you both walk away feeling good about the interaction. If you insist to win, you insist that others must lose.
