while true, the higher you are the safer you are against non-confidence votes or losing that majority. a 173 seat majority would only require one defector, or one MP removal through death, resignation or other to eliminate the majority government.

i think that's largely true, however i do also think the lib government has failed to effectively enact policies & keep rouge provinces and companies on a leash, which led to the issues Canada is facing internally.
