That’s an inaccurate caricature of conservatism. We’re not trying to silence the left, we expect peaceful protests where both sides can speak freely. We don’t expect you to do exactly as your told, but you are expected to follow the law. Questions/debate are welcome. We don’t demand informants.

Yeah, we want off this rock. Society is failing. Those with a brain and resources are seeking a way out.
January 19, 2026 at 2:14 PM
I couldn’t agree more. I’m guessing we are on opposite sides of the aisle, and we both feel this way. What does that tell you?
January 19, 2026 at 2:12 PM
But it’s hard to consider what you’re saying when you’re destroying your own credibility through assaults, obstruction, rioting, etc. How do you expect us to react? We support law enforcement. We don’t support people here illegally.

I’m aware of what it is, but won’t be lectured to by someone who told me to “shut up,” or who uses the argument, “blah blah blah.” Lol.

I very deliberately and purposefully made the distinction between the government and the people. I was actually pointing out the difference.
January 19, 2026 at 1:26 PM
I was speaking of the government, not the people. That’s the exact distinction I was making. The State supports the eradication of Israel. You aren’t paying attention. I have my facts correct, and I was clear in stating them. I must say, the reading comprehension on Blue Sky is terrible.
January 19, 2026 at 1:26 PM
I actually made this point. We agree that not all Palestinians are terrorists. But Israel is absolutely defending themselves. The question is whether or not it has gone too far. I believe it has.
January 19, 2026 at 1:23 PM
Oh, I see, so snark is more important to you than progress. Got it. I see who you are.
January 19, 2026 at 1:22 PM
Impressive. Indicates your IQ.
January 19, 2026 at 5:00 AM
Your insults don’t bother me or contribute to the discussion in the slightest. I prefer not to stop. I’m trying to hash this out in my own mind. If you’re trying to be persuasive, you’re failing.
January 19, 2026 at 5:00 AM
No. You asked me if I could shut up (albeit politely), and I refuse. I will not shut up because you want me to. I believe the issue is more complicated than you make it out to be. I support the existence of a Jewish state that includes Jerusalem. I also support the rights of innocent Palestinians.
January 19, 2026 at 4:57 AM
So you deny that the government of Palestine was actively participating in terrorism? I’ll not deny that Israel abused the Palestinians over and over.
January 19, 2026 at 4:53 AM
No
January 19, 2026 at 4:51 AM
Well, supporting Palestine is kind of anti-Semitic though, because they call for the annihilation of Israel. Supporting an end to the killing of innocent people who live there isn’t antisemitic. Right?
January 19, 2026 at 4:50 AM
The casual use of anti-Semite really bothers me. Primarily because it dilutes the seriousness with which anti-semitism should be taken. Terms like “racist,” and “misogynist,” have also been abused. This happened with the #metoo movement too. False accusations hurt real victims.

You are my first follow. Thanks for the courteous dialogue. I have a question: were you this zealous on behalf of the January 6th rioters, who were denied due process for years?
January 19, 2026 at 4:46 AM
I believe they are getting the process they deserve, but recognize I don’t have the full picture. Generally speaking, they can get their day in court after deportation. If I see hard evidence (not theoretical or rhetorical) that law-biding citizens are getting deported em masse, I’ll join you.
January 19, 2026 at 4:44 AM
If you could help me be sharing hard evidence of proven U.S. citizens being detained without any cause, I will gladly write my representation. I don’t agree that the constitution is for non-citizens.
January 19, 2026 at 4:39 AM
I may be wrong, but are the being detained for interfering with ICE activities? If so, I support that. I wasn’t a fan of the January 6th rioters, and they were detained for years without charges, so I know our government is capable of this.
January 19, 2026 at 4:39 AM
But these people need a place to live without being killed. Not every Palestinian is a terrorist, nor is it their responsibility to eliminate every terrorist in their ranks. I don’t know the solution. War is failure.
January 19, 2026 at 4:35 AM
I cannot fault the Israeli people for defending themselves, but I also can’t fault Al-Shaair for saying that war should stop. How do we bring this conflict to an end? The Palestinians have not been honest, and have participated in terrorism for decades. Israel has a right to exist and defend itself.
