An update!! After more than two years of struggle against the mealy bugs she THRIVED all winter and I couldn’t figure out how it happened and then I found out Dad had put fertiliser in her pot 🤣 She also broke at the stem in a recent big storm but also bounced back from that!!

An Aeonium vs mealy bugs saga update:
They came back for the THIRD TIME days after I tweezed them off last time, but I didn’t have time to do it again before I went to Sydney for a week. BUT I think we are winning bc it grew so much anyway and it’s purple again! Older pic on right for comparison.

They came back for the THIRD TIME days after I tweezed them off last time, but I didn’t have time to do it again before I went to Sydney for a week. BUT I think we are winning bc it grew so much anyway and it’s purple again! Older pic on right for comparison.
