If they were truthfully seeking to help people make informed decisions, they would offer the DRP to people after informing them that they would be terminated in the RIF. As it is they’re preventing people from making informed decisions because people don’t know if they would be RIF’d.

Respectfully, if they’re being paid then it’s not an indefinite suspension—they’re on indefinite administrative leave, which is a paid, non-duty status. Indefinite suspension is a non-duty, non-pay status as defined under 5 CFR 752.402.
