What happens to the French nuclear deterrent when Marine Le Pen is voted the next president in 2027? It would be tragic if Europe is not prepared for that rather likely outcome.

Europe needs to build its own nuclear deterrent that is resilient towards parliamentary or presidential election results in any given country. We cannot risk the enemy ending up with effective nuclear monopoly. Yes it's expensive, but we must give ourselves the best chance for peace.
