The amount of people that seem to be offended by his tweet and not the fact that the President of the United States is a pedophile or that she's just trying to skip her way around it 🤦‍♂️

Alien: Alone (2019) takes a more meditative and thought-provoking route to wrap up these shorts, which is good. Some neat callbacks to previous characters here.

Alien: Harvest (2019) is probably the best from the bunch with a bit of everything for everybody: a self-destruct ticking clock, the nerve-wracking beeping of the movement sensor, evil androids, a facehugger, everything

Alien: Ore (2019) is probably one of my favorites from the #Alien shorts. It exemplifies how the innocent are just put in the path of these deadly creatures while being considered expendable.

Alien: Night Shift (2019) continues the trend of the previous #Alien shorts. It does have a neat visual trick with lights and shadow in its opening scene that I really liked. Nothing spectacular, but fun.

Alien: Specimen (2019) is probably the weakest of the six #Alien 40th Anniversary shorts, but not by much. It still does its job of building up tension and dread.

Alien: Containment (2019) is the first of a bunch of #Alien shorts released for its 40th Anniversary. It does a good job of building effective tension with little resources.

TED 2023 (2012) mostly confirms how much they wasted Guy Pearce in these films, cause I could've watched three hours of him just speaking. This was great.

Alien: Covenant (2017) suffers from most of the same issues as #Prometheus, although with dumber people but more gore and xenomorphs. You decide how that shift in balance works out for you. #FilmSky

#Prometheus (2012) is a technically competent sci-fi film with some good/great ideas & some very good performances, weighed down by some serious under-writing, & an overall frustrating execution of its main themes and ideas.

Alien Resurrection (1997) could've been a competent sci-fi if it was called Space Monster and didn't have Ripley. But as an Alien sequel, it has a jarring tonal dissonance, cartoonish characters and a weak final act.
