On another note:
Steam capsule is done, steam page is almost completely set up - just a few elements missing.

I'm focusing a lot on learning the piano properly at the moment and learning music theory here and there which is also gonna come in handy for the game.

Constantly tired again.
I need to slow things down again as soon as I can.

Game is not exactly on hold, but it's just not a priority at the moment.

I did finish a few more mechanics and another Mini-Game recently.

I also don't want to make a game that just looks good on video

Also:
YouTube feels like poison to game development.
You start so quickly to just work in things that look good on video but don't feel good.
So that will take another back seat, only with the occasional update

Game needs to take a backseat for a moment as I have other priorities.

Not gonna rush it and won't pressure myself into working on it.

It's done when it's done.
It won't be a big hit either way, just a little story I'd like to tell.

Once it's done, I'll move on... So why rush now?

I'm considering to start streaming game development...

I'm just kind of scared of making promises again I can't keep.

On the other hand, it would help greatly for visibility when it comes to my game.

I had to get something done this weekend at least... so at least I set everything up that the time of day and progression state can advance when a task is done ... yay?

Along with my next devlog, I'll start looking for testers.

The game loop is almost done, just very bare bones.

I'll need feedback on things like movement and art direction...

Dunno whether I should use my existing discord or make a new one though

16 Gameplay tasks,
5 Progression States,
11 UI Elements (Thus, 44 Frames),
3 Scene Settings,
6 Cut Scenes,
5 Music Themes,
and a couple of misc. sound effects missing.

That's when I can start polishing for the demo.

Yeah, End of october doesn't sound so realistic anymore, does it?

Will produce less shorts from now on.
Pumping out content all the time, even if it is just short form content, really messes with my brain.

I'm in absolute machine mode as of late.
Thanks to the climate in Malta, I got so used to heat that I can just work normally.

You can now feed the cubs!
They still lack some animations, but they will look for food if they are hungry and you drop something in the den!

I tried to take yesterday and today slow ... but relaxing just isn't exactly for me, I guess.

Resubmitted my tax information to steam, put my old game out of early access and started creating the store page for 'A place once warm'

Not done yet ... need a capsule art, so it'll still need some time

Oh god, I just realized that I should have a polished demo by the end of october ...
The majority of the mechanics already work decent enough, so three months should be enough to work something up.

Almost done with work and then time to pack up for Malta.

Quickly built a watering system using an ESP and some relais and made hydrogel balls for my tomato plants... hope this works.

Then I'll quickly pre-record two yt shorts and schedule them... and then it's actually time to pack, lol

Just did the drawings ... the fox mood is still kinda off though, might have to redraw that
