I watched some of a Meidas Touch podcast on Fox News. Their ideas are so outside my frame of reference and nonsensical to my life experience that I was truly baffled. Their sensibilities seem like a sixth-grader's ideas about the world. Is this the mentality of their core audience?

So my son-in-law, who is an HVAC repair person, says that new AC units use a refrigerant that is only made in China. ONLY China, no other place. There will be a run on this refrigerant, and then there none. New units may not be able to be converted back to the old refrigerant.

Is it just me, or does is seem like everything is trying to sell me something? Trying to evoke a response, trying to pull my attention this way and that. Oher than unplugging everything, how can I make them stop commodifying my attention? Aarg!

So I went grocery shopping today & filled a tote with multiple bags of flour, sugar, dried milk, canola oil, canned goods, rice, beans—items that will sustain us if 47 declares the Insurrection Act.
