i don’t mean to vent under your post but it’s so painful knowing that THAT is the reason i don’t have a dad anymore and never knew the reason him without the alcohol and all the pain it caused my family, the only home i know is california cuz at least they helped us fight them

also their excuse being a drug charge he had from when he was a teenager in THE 80s FOR A DIME BAG OF WEED this was 2006 and he was also married to my mom who is a citizen, not only did it completely mess up our lives it made his alcohol problem worse which he passed away from when i was 14

the only america i know is the one that took my dad when i was 6 months old and was in a ICE detention center for 9 months(missed my first steps, my first words, my first birthday) and then when the state threatened to sue for taking him unlawfully they just gave him back and oops

oh yeah my bf’s dad is part of that, he actually had to go live with his uncle for a bit cuz their house got raided and cps and everything but they all know his dad and don’t mess with him. when the cops would be at our school they’d always look at my bf like”i know what you are😑”

i used to go with my dad to take our dogs on walks and the hookers knew us cuz they always wanted to pet them,also all the liquor store owners knew who me and my dad were cuz he was a alcoholic, and I used to always go with him to the liquor store😭

i haven’t been explicitly part of it but i’m cool with everyone so a lot of people i know are so no one really messed with me in school too much, its the cholos always being friends with the goth girls in school lmao💀

good petition only thing is that you have to get it printed out to sign it, our best bet might just be calling them and or making another petition for us to leave rn rn and not wait for the “next election”
