@DavidBHimself Given the lack of reactions against Trump, I would say the damage was inevitable, US institutions were crippled for years. Even the richest parts (Silicon Valley & New York) are miserable places.

@DavidBHimself I'm at a complete loss about quantifying the destructive power of these far-right movements, mostly because I don't think they have that much time. Each year that passes makes it harder to ignore the main problem (climate change), what do you when you loose cities because of this?

@DavidBHimself for me, the underlying problem is the lack of model, of vision of the future. The one thing in common between the new far-right wing parties and the traditional left wing (and some weird green guys) is the idea of solving problems by basically going back to the 50s.
