Dev shops aren't invested in your success. You need a team you can direct and iterate with.

• Hire individual contractors
• Start with data/DB design (€1K)
• Add backend (€5K/mo) & frontend (€5K/mo)
• Get a solid designer (€4K)
• (Optional) a project manager (maybe €3K/mo?)

Going back to basics. First question: What's the ONE thing this tool absolutely must do? Everything else is noise.

Local businesses, niche industries, specialized services - that's where the gold is. The masses will catch up eventually, but the early adopters will own the market by then.

This window won't last forever. The time to build is now.

1) Tools are stable & usable
2) Early bugs are fixed
3) Best practices exist
4) Competition is still low
5) No heavy regulation yet.
