I just watched Enterprise for the first time - I was a bit burned out by 2000 on ST, didn't immediately watch, then heard the show wasn't good. But it was! A few bad hours, some really weird decon (and other) scenes from the producers, but overall, very strong stories and world-building.

His music won't last, so it doesn't matter. When your one value is cash, you probably won't contribute anything of lasting value.

I'm so furious at the Dems. They have no idea what regular people are going through and so cannot offer a reasonable alternative to Trump. (Not that an alternative need be any more reasonable than him...but how nice it would to be inspired...)

I feel like these kinds of statements, while true, aren't strong enough. They don't hit emotionally. We must make these points with more force and cut through the noise.

If you need to focus on just one issue, this should be it - many positive changes will follow very quickly. It would be profoundly transformative if our government actually reflected the will of the people.

"a battle of organized money vs organized people" is the winning line. Hope the clueless Dems in charge finally understand that it's not about "moving more toward the center" (which is now the right wing) but about reclaiming its historical place as the advocate of the people vs the corporations
