Coming in a little late to this #FossilFriday but here is the holotype of Youngina capensis, AMNH FARB 5561. This is a close relative of modern reptiles that lived in the late Permian of South Africa around 252 million years ago

Expect some fun revisions to Neodiapsida in the near future…. 👀
