Getting old, I thought, meant mourning the loss of the emotional highs of youth. Romantic adventures, new experiences, thrill of the unknown. Then I had my own children and I've never experienced a more exquisite joy than this.

NOOOO!!!! It should never have been a stupid extraction shooter anyway. Titanfall was exceptional as it was and we would have paid for more! Grrr! At least EA is consistent at being horrible.

Cutting MSR (Mars Sample Return) is absolutely devastating. Everyone knows we've found something alive up there. We only need to bring it home to confirm in our labs and humanity will have scientific proof that Earth isn't the only home to life.

I want to believe the Telepathy Tapes are telling the truth. My mind is open to the fact that perhaps we don't know everything there is to know about the cosmos. But until I see it for myself, I'm not sure I can get fully onboard.

There's an oak tree near my lab. Today a pair of deer stood underneath, feeding on the brush that grows nearby. I considered how the tree forms a similar shape to a bolt of lightning from the sky and wondered if there were beings who fed at the root of that too, up there somewhere.

Do I have a sixth sense for these things? The first trailer of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 had me convinced it was going to end up something special. Now all these previews are coming out saying much the same.

I can really feel the presence of animals when they're encountered in the wild. There's something 'extra' happening there.
There's some sort of subconscious connection, some... quantum phenomenon of communication that happens.
I don't sense this at Zoos or by watching videos. Weird and sad.
