Meet Cleo, or Cleocatra if you want to be all formal and shit. She's skittish by nature and the flooding from Idalia left her traumatized. She's become the most feral of our cats. We used to keep them indoors, but when we couldn't shut our doors for weeks after the flood, it's no longer tolerated.

It's truly a glorious morning with the sun shining on Romeo, my stag horn fern (host to other ferns) and through the limbs of the 100+ year old Live oak (I call it Mother Oak) that makes this property so special.

I can just imagine the folks at Starbucks "This is great! We can raise our prices even higher now. Then when all this is settled, rather than reducing our prices accordingly we'll just keep them as they are because our customers are still paying. Record profits for the CEO!"
