The bigger point is he's alienating his closest and most trusted allies in favor of creating alliances with countries that can't be trusted in search of power. He doesn't understand the concept of trust is more powerful than power itself.

I don't look at it that way. I think people need to learn that just being against a group, in this case the left in general, has consequences for everyone.

I thought this was a free country and if a company wants to have a DEI policy, it's their right to do so. I imagine the highest profile group to go after would be the NFL to get everyone talking about it.

This is on Republicans too. If a Democrat comes into office with all the power Trump is giving himself, Republicans will have a tough howling without looking hypocritical. The problem may be that many Republicans and their constituents don't care about their own hypocrisy.
