My video game takes are always vindicated by the future

The Last Judge encounter in Silksong is a puzzling design choice. Forcing a low HP player to fight a high-damage, knowledge-based boss with an AWFUL runback.

I beat P5 in Hollow Knight and the Last Judge is worse than any pantheon boss simply because of that terrible runback.

Been playing Hell is Us early and here's my thoughts so far:

1. The combat is a bit easy, even on merciless difficulty
2. LOTS of puzzles
3. LOTS of NPCs, like actually way more than I expected
4. The game's tone is really dark. You get some of this in the prologue but way more once you reach town

It's done... the Silent Hill 2 10 Star run. This was an absolute monster of a trophy to get.

I've been grinding away trying to get Silent Hill 2's infamous 10 star ranking for the platinum trophy. It's painful but I want to be my 104th platinum.

My gamer take is that Silent Hill 2 Remake absolutely deserved a GOTY nomination. It's a genuine master class adaptation and Bloober Team deserves more recognition.
