If you have a small business or nonprofit org, please do NOT rely only on social media to let people know about your events, products, etc. Email is still the best way to reach folks. Many of us aren't on FB of IG anymore; even if you are it won't always reach you. #Communications #Marketing

Mailing lists / newsletters are the unsung heroes of small business marketing. If I were to start another one I would use social primarily as a way to drive list signups. Nothing beats being able to talk directly to your customers.
