I quit a job today because they refused to pay a signing bonus they advertised and promised repeatedly by email. Not sure where to go with this but I do know it was the best decision and they don't deserve me- an experienced and reliable healthcare worker.

The health care system in Canada didn’t break by itself. It was broken by Provincial Conservative governments who are starving the system of resources to position for-profit delivery of publicly funded services as a saviour. This was always the plan.

The results of the US election fill me with dread and I worry about Canada's future. I am not sure, no matter how much I wish otherwise, that we can evade the same thing. Anyone else freaking the F out?

Hi Blue sky! I'm new here. So far I see lots of cat pics. I don't have a cat so here is a pic of my donkey. Penny is a rescue and is now living her best life on the farm. I am a Liberal federally and NDP provincially (Ontario). I work in both education and healthcare. Both underfunded by Ford.
