Let's be totally clear here. 2 things can be true at the same time. The fires in LA are almost definitely being impacted by climate change. That doesn't change the fact that LA significantly defunded their Fire Department, and moved that money to the LAPD.
Both things need to be addressed.

Sitting here watching the videos coming out from the LA fires and I just feel so exhausted. Just saw a video of a fire chief clearly trying to hold it together while fighting a losing battle. My mind struggles to rationalize the fact that this is our future. All this to make sure the rich get richer

First post, so might as well be a mini-rant. I wish news would quit using the phrase "x finally breaks their silence.." Just saw it used to describe Aubrey Plaza in regards to her man unaliving himself. She didn't break her silence, poor lady is grieving and doesn't want to be bothered by the press.
