I don’t even know where to begin in explaining how much being friends with cows who will never be killed heals the childhood wounds of growing up on a farm where my best friends were slaughtered for their flesh. A better life is possible for them, for all of us.

We’re headed to the vet tomorrow to get a new glucose monitor put on and talk about some medication changes. He has been doing SO GOOD over the last several weeks and I am so relieved. It was really scary for a while. 🥺🥹
